Russell Roberts

Following qualification Russell joined the Legal and Business Affairs department of Mercury Records for two years before joining Sheridans.

He specialises in music and media related work including sport and employment. He represents a number of independent music publishing companies, record labels, major recording artists, songwriters and sports individuals as well as senior industry executives. His work includes advising on corporate matters extending to high profile share transactions, sales and acquisitions of music publishing catalogues, image rights and sponsorship.

His client list includes recording artists Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield, Kate Bush and Brand New Heavies , publishing companies Peer Music and Minder Music, Gary Barlow’s San Remo Music and Verse Music, renowned independent record companies Glassnote Records, Cherry Red andUnion Squareand Universal Records management company 21st Artists.

His non-music related work includes dance group clients Diversity.
